Who We Are:
First of all, yes, we named this FC after the Movie based on the TV show Firefly. I am a Browncoat to the core.

Second we take a "quality over quantity" approach to membership. New members are given time to settle in and adjust to the workings of the guild without having the pressure to contribute to the guild (although, participation is always encouraged, NEVER mandatory).

We're in no hurry to get to the end game. Most of the fun is the journey to get there. Everyone is encouraged to travel through the game at their own pace so that they can enjoy it to the fullest without feeling rushed. We will be raiding of course, we're just not going about it in a hardcore fashion from the start because rushing in the past has ruined games for us.

Update: A group of about 10-15 of us are currently running WP and AK various times throughout the day and are on HM Garuda working on our Relic Weapons, it's just tough getting 8 of us on at the same time, which is why I'm updating this thread. We are currently looking to recruit some more active gamers. You need not be 50, but please be active and working towards 50.

We're also looking forward to doing dungeons and such with a group of... well at least partially intelligent people. Not asking for much, but maybe a just a tad of common sense. Of course we won't pressure you into doing them if you're not interested, but I personally enjoy them... most of the time... when the tank knows that they are the tank... and what that entails...

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted you guys to know that I was a bit skeptical about joining a FC since I was a new player to the game. However, I joined Serenity and I have to say they are absolutely wonderful. They're fun to talk to, very active (especially for the size, it's always, "Hey anyone going to do this?" or "You need a tank?"), and absolutely helpful for someone new like myself. I highly suggest that if you're looking for a FC, look no further.

Mostly NA, although we have member from Italy, UK, and Germany that I know of so far.

I'm in... but my plan is ultimately to hit level 19, get the materia creation ability, then level weaving to 19 to meld. I might do dungeons in between, I guess. Went from Ramuh on JP server, was lvl 20 ARC lvl 12 WVR and lvl 13 BOT.

Joined the other day. Really enjoying the group of people here! While very encompassing to my new player tendencies, they also seem very experienced and skilled. I thoroughly hope prospective members give them a try for themselves and see where they sit.

I've seen people on all day for the most part. Maybe slowing around 3 or 4 in the morning.
