Does AF have hidden bonuses to job abilities? or did square just forget to add em?

I am wondering so I got 4 pieces of my warriro af and I notice not one of them improves any of my jobs abilities like it used too in 1.0, Was this omitted on purpose? or is it a hidden stat on the item? Its even worse when the item lv 90 gear that bascally looks like AF2 also lacks any buffs to any of the base class or job abilities as well.

The AF gear you get at 45 is a simplified stat boost to put everyone at a base level for 50 content. What you see is what you get. Whether the higher iLevel gear will have the fun bonuses or a variety of choices in stat allocation remains to be seen, though I hope so.

There was a dev post during beta I believe stating that they weren't going to add any auxiliary stats at the moment, but that they might come into play later. I think it had something to do with making sure the stats on gear vs the content it was developed in mind for were balanced. Once they can ensure that things are balanced they might add some of those unique bonuses for the AF gear.
