My first 4 or 5 dungeons the majority of gear that dropped was for tanks.. this thread is invalid.

RNG is RNG. The reason there's not many tanks is that we get yelled at even if we do well, very off-putting.

In all my dungeon runs I've seen nothing but heavy armor drop for tanking (which I might add, I'm not allowed to roll need on as Dragoon despite it saying I can use it).

Random numbers are random numbers; you already get instant queue time, you now want guaranteed gear as well?

Its all about luck, first time I did IFRIT HM my scholar weapon dropped. Since then I have been in IFRIT HM several times trying to help friends get their drop, with some getting lucky after a few runs and some who have done it to many times without getting any luck.

Same here, i am level 30 (dont know why this forum avatar wont refresh :s) and i did every low level dungeon twice, ive seen al lot of tank gear drop.

My char (archer) had about 5-6 drops on those 12 runs, were i won 4 of them.
