New Gridania/Old Gridania?

whats the difference between new gridania and old gridania?

started a conjurer and not sure which zone i am in haha

think of Old Gridania as being the north part and New Gridania as being the south part. At your stage in the game you would use New Gridania to get to Central Shroud, or Old Gridania to get to North Shroud. Conjurer's guild is in Old Gridania so you may find that area more effective for going back n forth for mob-quests

Old Gridania is the central core of the Girdania Town, hence why the map for Old Gridania is so much more compact than the map for New Gridania which expanded out around it on its southern half.
