    What!?

A way to level outside the norm? NERF!

OT: I do dungeons, FATEs, leves w/e. It all gets boring to me so I switch it up, tired of FATEs? Queue for dungeons which is normally what i do.

They shouldn't nerf FATE xp, just buff dungeon/Leve XP, I also wish they would let the guildhiests bonus reward either reset weekly or be independent for every class.

I think most people have no problem with FATE's being a legit way to level. The problem a lot of us have is that FATE's give the most (by far) XP, seals AND FC ranking up points. And no, don't buff dungeon and leve XP please. FATE spamming levels people up way too fast. There were people level 50 on day 1 of release. So that is 3 days, max 4 days to hit max level.

I disagree with the idea of nerfing FATE xp. If you want S-E to nerf that, might as well have them nerf storyline quest XP while they are at it, since from what I've seen, FATE's give out as much XP as a storyline quest... for what amounts to just about the same amount of time and effort. But yet, I don't seem to see people calling for a nerf of storyline XP. Strange observation there....
If you put someone side by side in FATE group and someone running through the story quests as fast as they can I guarantee the person spamming FATE's are going to stomp the other person in levels. FATE's spawn really fast and give as much or more XP as quests yet require next to zero effort.

The storyline quests don't require much effort either, to be honest. Oh sure, every once in a while you actually have to think (primal fights, for example)... but usually the storyline quests are just solo FATE's for all intent and purpose. And they give just as much XP, to be honest. Heck... what I would end up doing (before the wellspring that is storyline quests dried up due to approaching the end of the storyline) would be follow the storyline quests to a quest hub, pick up the storyline quest and all subsequent side quests... do them all in one go, then turn them all in at once... rinse and repeat. The Costa del Sol area, for example, netted me 100k for about 30 minutes of actual questing. To put that in comparison, I spent an hour grinding FATE's in Coerthas and got 190k xp.

The only advantage FATE's have over storyline quests (and side quests, for that matter) is they are repeatable... whereas the quests are not. From an XP gain standpoint, they are about equal.
