What is the Moonfire Faire?

Hi, I'm a new player to the FF series, and I have no idea what this Faire is. The starter page only explains the history and where to find certain npcs, but would anyone kindly enlighten to me as to what exactly this event is? Or rather, as to what rewards are gained? Thanks in advance~^^

As far as I know, it's some vendors in the main cities that sell swimwear(basically aesthetic, because I mean there is some real low armor values).
For what, as far as I know, is some pretty useless items, correct me if I'm wrong anyone.
It's dropped from Bombs in Costa del Sol I think? Or you can buy 99 from the market boards for a couple hundred, and re-sell any you didn't use.
Still, just a small event for players to get swimwear for characters, which you can also get a voucher for some more after 60 days in a end-game-ish area.

Oh I see, I got a firsthand look in the game itself. The swimwear is very nice, but it's kind of useless because we can't fuse the armor, which I hope the devs will add in the future ...

Now...where are these bombs? I haven't explored Costa Del Sol, but it seems like a high level area...I thought as an event, they'd be like outside every city as level 1 monsters or something

Okay so far I've read they're found in low level fates...but where are these fates? I've been at Costa Del Sol for about half an hour and nothing so far...

lvl 11 fate in North Shroud around the peacegarden, you get 20 wet bombard ash for failing the fate.Havent seen a success yet in 3 tries.

4th try success and only got 3 ash :/
better off just killing bombs the ole fashioned way, failing the fate to get 20 ash

Also Drybone in Western Thanalan, close to that one lake. A level 15 FATE that syncs me to 20.

Or go to the nearest market board and under Miscellany you can find a bunch of listings for the Wet Bombard Ash.
I pretty much just rushed and spent like 200 on 99 Ash(Limsa Lominsa Market Boards, dunno if it's diferent or if they're all shared). Was left with a bunch( even though I mis-bought some male swimwear x__x but I can't discard it atm..but some female swimwear I can, don't know why) and was able to resell what I didn't use.
