    2 common thing ppl does stuff in mmo, exp and cool gear. They can offer chain leves for more exp or removing the leve limit. Adding more easy to die mobs so ppl can exp on, lowering minium chain level, extending chain timings, make dungoen runs give more exp at the end, etc.

    But currently it seems like SE just want to give ppl a way to level up hussle free. So they can get to the gear part.

    Forgive me if I sound like a jerk for asking this... but do you want an "I Win" button while we're at it? Adding more easy to die mobs so people can XP on sounds like welfare mobs... which is exactly what FATE mobs are. You want S-E to make that the norm across the board so people who don't want to do FATE's can get the same amount of XP?

    Same can be said for the other ideas in your post (lowering chain level, extending chain timings, giving more XP at the end of a dungeon, etc). I can go through Stone Vigil and walk out with 100k (140k with rested xp bonus). You want MORE? Again... I'm sorry if I come off sounding like a jerk... but this line of thinking reeks of WoW-mentality where everything is handed to people on a silver platter so they don't have to think about anything... just click-and-go.

    I hope and pray S-E does not give in to this line of thinking... because it's not going to fix anything. Doing something like this to appease the vocal majority (who, for the record, have little idea of what they are talking about... take the person on the thread who said he/she can't get above bronze or silver on FATE's because of lack of AOE or insta-cast spells... clearly that person was trying to solo and wasn't trying to join a FATE party and therefore was only receiving points for his/her own contributions rather than joining a party which is a sure-fire way to get gold)... but it would come at a high cost as the vocal majority would then see that all they have to do is rant enough and S-E will give them their way. Which is exactly the trap that Blizzard got stuck in.

    Levequest xp needs to be AT least x10d, it's seriously pathetic atm I can solo grind 3 shot 5 mobs and get the same xp of a levequest. Worthless. Dungeon xp needs to be at least x3d, it's also horrid and probably why 95% of people do a dungeon to get through story and never do it again, talk about tons of wasted development time. Grind xp needs to be at least x3d, it's god awful compared to the 45 seconds at a FATE I can get 25k xp. Fate xp needs to be reduced to about 20% of its current. You get money, MASSIVE xp, and tickets from fates, a triple reward for 0 effort, 0 coordination, 0 skill just tab button mash. Worst system, evar.

    My highest class is only 26 oder 27 but I started worrying about leveling up other classes around lv 15 which is when I stopped doing any quests. I consider Arcanist my main and I only follow the story line, I leveled up Lancer by fates/dungeons/hunting log alone (saving Leve for my crafters), as Arcanist I'll need THM and CNJ as well, so no questing for Lancer either. CNJ is already 18, I plan on not leveling higher than 34 (blah) and hopefully easiest for him will be dungeons since they insta-pop for healers, as for THM ah hell, I hate THM so I'm saving all the quests for him to get to 26 as fast as possible. As I'm enjoying Lancer a lot, too, I guess I'll have to level PUG for some cross-class stuff lol...I'm not even past 30 and already it feels like a grind XD worries worries... Do I even wanna know how it is past 40. You're all scarying me.

    I dunno why people think grinding isn't viable at all.. I've been in grind parties that did FATE's on the side, and leveling was infinitely faster than just waiting on FATE's to pop. In Northern Thanalan you can get 40k+ exp just off grinding alone between almost every FATE there.. And some of those FATE's will pop right on top of the best grinding spots! This is viable in almost any zone at any level range, people just.. don't do it.

    Yeah. I decided last night I'm going to have to avoid FATE grinding. After doing it for two on an alt class I felt really burnt out and didn't feel excited to play anymore. Luckily after sleeping and waking up to the event (Which I had all the ash for already ) I don't feel so off-put.

    I think I'll just leave them as random things I can run for if I'm close. Unfortunately that will make leveling terribly slow since DPS queue is so long, but oh well. At least I'll keep enjoying the game.

    Dungeons are fairly poor for leveling, between having to queue up and the general length of them compared to reward.. they're kinda not worth it for anything other than completing quests and logs. Standard grinding though, is highly underrated! A good group of 8 people can cause massive havoc together, and if you find a good spot you can rake in the EXP very quickly. The only problem I see with normal grinding is that it ultimately has a higher repair cost, due to the fact damage is more evenly distributed between people. (FATE's keep repair costs generally low, unless you're tanking things. Which never happens unless it's a FATE boss.)

    Buffing the XP from Dungeons would have numerous benefits.

    It would give players an alternative leveling option that isn't zerg based and requires more skill.
    It would mean more people running the Duty Finder and thus less wait times for everyone.
    It would give players more options to master their Job ina group environment instead of spamming their fastest attack ad nauseam.

    FATES should have been designed to scale based on the number of people in the area and tags for FATES shouldn't be limited to the Party or player that tagged the mob. If they were more like the Rift's in Rift or the PQ's in WAR they would be much less soul crushing. IMO.
