Behemoth Fate Kill - Healer gets nothing

On both the phase 1 and 2 fates, I was healing as a 50 Scholar on every tank targetted.

Sadly, I received a terrible medal and 20 seals with no horn / recognition of the kill.
Why are heals not recognised by the fate system?

Especially in fates designed to be done zone-wide with a lot of healing necessary?


I'm sure there are many forum posts like this but I walked away from that severely disappointed and it made me not want to assist in the healing of any fate from now on, which will only end up causing fates like that to become impossible (if every healer also does the same from now on).


Is this being changed soon?

I'm dps and I agree, healing class needs some love even solo'ng fates.

Were you in the party with the tanks there were tanking ? if so your should get party credit if not i would suggest you not do group content solo for future reference

and did you cast any dps spells at least once ?

Unfortunately as a healer, soloing fate bosses is really rough. The best way to get full contribution is to just a party and tag the boss, then you can heal your little heart out.

Grouping shouldn't be mandatory for Fates since everyone is in the same place working together anyway. I agree that the contribution system is pretty screwed up in that healers and to a lesser degree tanks who are doing their job tend to get screwed over by high damage AOE classes. SE should consider how contribution is handled in the other games that they borrowed the idea from.

Grouping isn't mandatory for FATEs. It is mandatory for Behemoth.

And this isn't an issue for just healers, anyone trying to solo Behemoth will find themselves with no reward.

I have major issues with Fates as a Tank espcially when there are a number of high damage AOE classes. Mobs don't stay alive long enough for me to generate enough contribution for the Fate to be worthwhile. Hell, I've tanked Fate bosses for the entire time the've been alive and only received 5-10% of the total fate reward while the dps/aoe classes get all the reward for 0 risk. How is this fair?

Unfortunately this is not true. I tanked Behemoth the other day and the healers in my group got bronze while I got Gold. Seems like this fate in particular doesn't apply to the normal methods.
