This fisher in my LS has gone 1-40 in a month using fishing after gathering fatigue on grade 10 fishing spots. So any tree anywhere I could chop to try to keep up with our fishing brothers who sky rocket to 50? =p

Atm we (botanists) do not have grade 10 trees, the highest grade I have found on the internet is 5...sux
It does suck not having any trees >grade 5.
It is do-able however, but 80-90sp per success for 500k SP, is very painfull.

I believe that Grade 5 is currently the highest Grade for Botanist, which is quite painful. I'm Rank 37, in a Grade 5 area (Treespeak, I love it!) and my Skill per success is already dropping dramatically. I can't head back to the Grade 4 areas as progress is so slow as to be somewhat painful.
Hoping they don't forget about Botanist as the changes to the game are put in. It is by far my most played class (actually started the game as Botanist) and as such don't want to completely fall by the way side to pure fighters.
Unfortunately Inura, I think the desciples of the land are the lowest on the to do list. It's unfortunate as I am a 41 Botanist... but what are we gonna do about it?

I'd be happy to see the sp payout equal to that of a Dow or a DoH class. If I succeed in a synth 8 ranks above my level as a crafter, I would typically see sp of 700-800 and 200 or so for a fail. As it is, we don't get much more than that for a success at the same rank difference. I'm sure that DoL isn't a huge priority for SE, but I feel like the DoL classes got left behind when they did that patch to fix sp for DoW/DoH. If they could just do what they did for the other classes, I'd be happy with that, for now at least.

We All should just spam this forum til they give us grade six trees.. I'm Rank 41 atm and I'm getting 130 sp/success and i need 74,000 sp...

You can't directly compare SP per success across all the jobs like that. It would take more time to figure out the total SP per hour spread, but just for a quick and dirty, I timed two "rank appropriate" SP gaining actions across three similarly ranked jobs:
Alchemy, rank 31, Hammerhead shark to Water Crystals synth, an optimal rank 30 recipe, the first time was selecting ingredients, the second was from the recipe book. 3 minutes, 26 seconds
Fishing, rank 29, grade 4 fishing hole, caught one fish, one nibble got away (which is zero sp), then caught a second. 1 minute, 57 seconds
Botany, rank 29, grade 4 tree, I started timing when I was still a bit away from the tree (though close enough to see it sparkle) to compensate for a botanists need to run around, had two logging successes. 54 seconds.
To sum up, in the time that a crafter is gaining one success for 300 sp, a botanist has logged half the node, had three or four successes and gained about 600 sp.
Now true, when you reach rank 38, you run out of rank appropriate nodes, but DoW/DoM run out of decent leves and DoH run out of synths with reasonably obtainable ingredients at about that same point.
There are a lot of reasons why DoL aren't getting the love, but the SP per success isn't one of them. If we could actually get more than two hours worth of successes per day, the SP rate would be fantastic.
It would be nice to have higher grades for Miners and Botanists too.. I don't see why fishers get it and not the other 2 DoLs. I play all 3 by the way.
