Being stubborn has nothing to do with it, it's common sense if something is given enmity abilities - enmity gear - and enmity merits, its generally going to function as some form of a tank. As for "Reality swooped in" the developers blanket posted the entire FATE forum with "working as intended" basically a large enough number of players enjoy it to where they are just gonna leave it alone to avoid any conflict directed at them.

And kort, i would not recommend this but my first experience of the fate i watched someone level from 1-40 in the use of the fate. He just sat in the house in the fate group, not sure if it has been fixed yet.

It might SEEM like common sense, but for the third time *I'm showing you the proof that you are wrong*. Your train of thought couldn't possibly be more irrelevant to the history of FFXI. Tattoo it on your arm, paint a mural in your apt... Whatever you need to do to drive this home.

And weren't you supposedly graciously admitting your wrongness (though still crediting yourself for getting a reply, and not mentioning the stuff that you made up to support your argument) earlier in this thread in regards to the OT? And now you're still trying to sit there and speak on their behalf and tell us that "working as intended" means something other than what it seems? Yes, it is stubbornness, and nothing else. You aren't capable of JUST admitting you're wrong, you have to find another argument or point on which you might be vindicated. Just drop it. This is the way the FATE was meant to work.
