    My Legacy character from 1.2 doesn't have the legacy tattoo :(

    What's the deal with Legacy tattoos? After I stopped playing FFXIV around 1.23 I haven't kept up with the news, betas, or anything till about a month ago when I downloaded the ARR benchmark/character creator. So I wasn't even aware of the tattoo till I saw something about 'em on these forums.

    Is the Legacy tattoo something all pre-2.0 characters are supposed to have? Or is it optional? Do you have to put it on your character during character creation?

    You should have it, it will be on the back of your neck. Try typing /legacymark incase you turned it off and not noticed.

    Interesting... I definitely didn't have it, and I typed in /legacymark once, and nothing happened. Then I typed it in again, and it appeared!

    So it's like I turned it off, and then back on, except it was off in the first place... but then after turning it on again it actually showed up.

    Anyway, thank you!! Where did you learn to do that? Is there any information/lore about the mark out there??

    It was a command given out during the beta for people to turn it off if they wanted to. As for the lore behind it i'm not a huge lore person tbh, might be better off asking around on other parts of the forums for that. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/646
