I'm also experiencing a similar issue. I've finished the main scenario up to and including "The Ul'dahn Envoy". I should now be able to receive the next main scenario quest from Bartholomew in Ul'dah - Steps of Thal, however there is no quest marker above his head and I am unable to progress because of it.
