I don't think Hyperion has been unlocked since the game went live.

My understanding is that the bottom 7 or so servers have been on and off in the first couple of weeks but no one has seen them open even for a minute in the last 3 or 4 days.

Moogle(EU), Ultros(NA), Behemoth(NA), Cactuar(NA), Excalibur(NA Legacy), and Hyperion(NA Legacy) have all been perma-locked.

Please unlock these severs for character creation after the maintenance today or give us an update on their future character creation status. A lot of people have been delayed from playing with their friends/family members due to the ongoing restrictions on these particular worlds.

It's been more than a week since the last maintenance and Ultros hasn't been open for characters at all! I have friends who bought the game and have been waiting to play. They were hoping that Ultros would be unlocked for character creation soon after the last maintenance but it never happened and they have wasted a good chunk of their free trial time!

They haven't even updated the news post for the creation and its now 28 minutes overdue! I woke up specifically to try and get my wife into my server Excalibur. Actually the legacy servers should have been world pass entry only from the beginning. What a way to screw over the people who actually bought this game multiple times SE!

Seriously getting frustrated. Server open! make character and then error telling me I cant make character because its locked. nice one guys.

Such level of incompetence in dealing with this whole situation doesn't exactly fill me with confidence in the future of this game.

No amount of "please understand!" will get you out of this SE.

I've been playing this Beta Phase 4, and my friends bought this just before release. I've been having little to no trouble with logging in since the last patch (other than the random graphic bug that crashes the game). The trouble is that no much I tell people that the game is great, they don't want to sit and stare at a character creation screen waiting for servers to be unlocked. Thought this was finally over with the recent update on creation restrictions, but the list is a load of bull****.

I'm actually considering starting again just to play with my friends (who haven't started as they are waiting to get on the same server as me (odin)). I don't see how difficult it is to keep the list up to date. Subscribing to this thread in the hope that things will get sorted soon...

I've been playing since beta too but my purchased copy didn't arrive by live date. All of my friends have been on since day one (Excalibur) and now they're leaps and bounds ahead.

Have been trying, as much as I can, to try to hit the creation on the server but always no luck. Not feeling like the extra seven days they're giving us or time spent trying to get to the same spot as friends are worth it right now.
