Help, Sound volume is low !!

    Hi,

I have a problem with my in-game sound. Even If my main volume and all other bars for volume are at 100, with windows volume to 100 and my headset/speakers volume maxxed, I can barely hear the game.

This problem happened out of nowhere, one day, when I opened the game. I wasn't paying much attention to it because I used to turn off the volume and play with online radio instead.

I've tried reinstalling the game and deleting the old files (from program files folder and my documents folder) and I still have the same problem.

Even if everything else sounds perfect on my computer (music, movies, other programs) I tried to uninstall/reinstall my sound card drivers, without success.

EDIT: I never had voice in story cutscenes either... I'm wondering if this sound problem is just a game bug or my PC causes it.

What are your speaker setting in windows and the game. Switch to 2.1 or 5.1/7.1 depending what you are on now.

Try running your audio from your integrated sound. And also your HDMI out on your nvidia.
Let us know if any of these make a difference.

By using my onboard sound card, it solved my volume problem with the game. I want to use my Creative Sound Card though. If I still have the problem at least I know it has to do something between the game and my sound card.

No sure, but have you tried updating the drivers for your creative sound card? or do a Windows Update?

I reinstalled the drivers already. I will do it again with an older version of the driver.

Reinstalling the drivers again fixed my problem. It seems that by doing the switch between both sound cards helped. Thanks
