Cross Server Friends

It'd be rather nice to keep your friends that you made on a different server and still be able to talk to them, even after a server transfer or for some other reason. I used it a lot on GW2 because I had friends all on different servers, but we could still chat and whatnot. Just a suggestion

I am highly impressed by the actions taken to try and retain players and keep them informed. I couldn't agree with you more though and IMHO, I think that once the dust settles and servers are more stable, it would be nice to offer a period of time that players could server transfer for free, either to play with other friends or in my case, to change to an English-based server. I understand not wanting to do this for an extended period of time, but maybe even a 36-hour window where players who wanted to could transfer. This would also help relieve congestion as well and even out the server's player base. Perhaps there is something already in place that I am not aware of?

Well even if they offer free server transfers, I would like to keep the friends I made. I don't want to be like, bye! And never see them again. I want to still be able to talk to them and such.

Heck, I hope they will eventually let characters freely cross between servers full stop! Like in runescape. It is extremely convenient and would eradicate the issue of having inaccessible friends on other servers. Me and my cousin had this issue and one of us had to start again...
