Part 22 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we're joined by our very generous viewer Picoman, who once again provides us with a cache of gear for us to equip, further increasing our useful stats, before joining us on a series of combat Leves in the Camp Drybone area to test out our new equipment. We get to enjoy these quests in a duo, learning how to utilise the 'Leve Link' feature, and of course discovering how much of a difference some decent items can make to your character.

In this episode we decide to test out our new equipment and stats by taking on the Camp Drybone combat levequests solo, to compare with our efforts prior to getting new equipments. We begin with the task of eliminating Midge and Syrphid Clouds, before moving on to the gathering of Floatstones off the local Spriggans and Coblyns. We also gain ourselves a new ability!

Part 24 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we take a break from combat to check out our crafting skills, as we take on a Culinarian Leve in Camp Drybone, followed by a Weaver Leve and another cooking session to test our mettle in this higher level area. We then head off out into the Thanalan wilderness to embark upon a Mining Leve as well, to round out our crafting and gathering activities.

Part 25 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this very special extra-length episode we log in post Patch 1.19, which is a significant update to the game for a number of reasons. We begin by taking a look at the various UI updates that have appeared in the patch, before picking up a Battlecraft Leve from Camp Drybone to see if there have been any combat changes. We then teleport back to Ul'dah to go and visit a particular NPC that we've been waiting to interact with since the game's launch, which leads us on a grand adventure and ultimately see's us logging in on another toon to check out yet another special feature that's been implemented..

In this episode we finally discover the whereabouts of the Wellhead Lift in Ul'dah, which leads us to the Airship Landing. We take a quick look before heading back to the Adventurers Guild to speak with Momodi, who sends us out into the desert on our epic storyline quest, which only serves to deepen the plot surrounding the strange girl we met the last time we were in the story mode. Once we've completed the quest we make a special journey on the Airship to Limsa Lominsa to take in the new sights around this most unique city above the water..

In this episode we head to the Adventurer's Guild in Limsa Lominsa to pick up some Battlecraft Leves, so that we get to experience what it's like doing these quests in this new area. We decide to grab ourselves another Chocobo and head out into the wilds, as we explore the nearby coastal area before taking on our new Leves..

Hey there!
Just wanted to say i love your let's play vids, watch the FFXIV and Rift mostly. In fact your let's play FFXIV was the main reason i started playing the game, the graphics is what pulled me into the game. It is funny that i bought the game just as subs were about to re-start after the first aniversary but to be honest that is fine by me, am quite happy to hand my money over if it will improve the game in the long run.
Keep up the good work.
Shame Tallahasse (sp?) is not venturing in FFXIV, love his dry humour
