Part 48 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we head to the Market Wards in Ul'dah to persue our main storyline quest, which has recently become available to us since we hit Level 20. We end up inside the Walkin' Sands where we meet up with Minfilia - acting Antecedent of the Path of the Twelve - who begins to inform us about the research her organisation performs around divine intervention, and about our own special gift called "the Echo"..

Part 49 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we meet up in Camp Horizon with some of the fine members of our LinkShell, Distant World, as we decide to head out into the wilderness of the Thanalan Desert for some free-form party hunting. We come across Cactuars and Aldgoat Billys, and take in the sights, before coming across a Notorious Mob named 'Pyrausta' which we were looking for. We finish off by taking a leisurely run back to the Ferry Docks, and get ourselves lost along the way..

In this episode we're joined by our fellow Distant World LinkShell members in the Gridania Amphitheatre, as we organise ourselves into hunting parties before departing to a new area named Camp Tranquil. Once we're there, we head out to a location known for it's native monkeys, which make for great party leveling targets. Once we've spent some time there and gained a level we head to the east where Quarrymill's tranquil fishing shores await us..

In this episode we meet up with Mini Ninja (aka 'She Plays It') who assists us with learning all about the features of 'Retainers' within the game. Once we've hired one for ourselves, we learn how to make use of her to add to our inventory space, and to buy and sell items from a player-driven market. We also happen across Pico Man who once again outdoes himself by helping us out with our pieces of armor, and showing us some of the advanced features of retainers themselves..
