New Let's Play FFXIV Video Series

Hi All, Just a quick note to let my Final Fantasy XIV viewers know that there's going to be a delay bringing you new episodes.

I've been trying to activate my account since the subscription fee has been reintroduced, and I'm having no luck. The payment system is an utter abomination, and account support is even worse in my experience so far.

There will be no more FFXIV episodes until further notice. Square Enix's payment system strikes once again.. sorry folks.

Part 37 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we finally manage to get back online, post subscription issues, and pick up our series once again. Our first order of the day is to check in upon the most recent patch changes to the game, including some UI updates, the Actions and Traits screen, and the new Achievement system, before we take a wander around Ul'dah to ogle at some of the player armors on display. We then pick up on one of our quests which sees us teleporting to Limsa Lominsa in order to pay visits to a number of guards stationed around the city..

Part 38 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we begin in Limsa Lominsa where we check out the detail inside the Culinarian's Guild, before heading to the Adventurers Guild to pick up some Battlecraft Leves, to allow ourselves some long overdue combat. We then teleport straight to Camp Skull Valley and take on a 1-Star Leve to warm ourselves up, before progressively working through our journal, increasing the difficulty each time..

Part 39 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we decide to get back to some crafting, as requested by a number of viewers, so we head to Camp Black Bush and prepare ourselves for the task. We begin with some Weaving as we're asked to produce Dated Hempen Chausses, and then shift our role to that of a Culinarian to cook some Flatbread. Once we've completed those we decide to round off the episode by working on our remaining Regional Levequest which requires us to cook 12 Salt Cod dishes.

In this extra-length episode we're joined by one of our viewers 'Seyo Meyo' - a L18 Conjurer - as we make a suprise special visit to the distant town of Gridania, nestled within The Black Shroud area on the continent of Aldenard. For the first time in our Let's Play series, we pick up some Battlecraft Leves from the Gridanian Adventurers Guild and make our way out into the lush forest surrounds to test our mettle. We start out by testing the waters with an easy task, and then take on a higher level leve to see if we've got what it takes to survive..
