Was wondering if anyone knew if /stopcasting or similar currently exists in game?

In dungeons I constantly pre-cast Cure and cancel the cast if there's no need to let the heal go through. I use strafe left/right to cancel the cast. This seems to be very clunky in this game and have had friends confirm similar findings (realize that this is simply anecdotal, and not proof). If I try to cancel by strafe @ 75% of the cast being completed or higher, the cast will still go through. It also causes weird delay sometimes in restarting a new spell-cast. Strafing to cancel does not feel fluid at all, or as responsive as other MMO's like Rift/WoW/etc.

So back to original question. I am hoping that some version of a stopcasting command bypasses whatever engine calcuations the game is making that adds the delay to cancelling a cast-midway. Does anyone know of any, or of any other method to cancel a cast quickly without invoking the weird delay?
