    Amdapor Keep exploit, and what do the Devs think?

    As anyone who's ran this dungeon would know, speed-running via death+raising is the only accepted way to go now. I can't blame people for wanting to breeze through it, but I'm curious what SE's opinion on this is?
    There is also a lesser used exploit regarding Demon Wall, and glitching him. I've never known it to be successful personally, but I have had to misfortune of weaker players trying to get it to work in pick-up groups. >.>

    Are people going to get in trouble? Are they going to adjust something? It may be a minor exploit of game mechanics, but it's still an exploit, and I don't want to log-in one day to find myself banned because I wanted mythology tomestones.

    They either need to fix the mechanics or give some incentive to kill the trash. Maybe have each trash mob drop a certain amount of GC seals or something.

    I think it's just bogus that you can bypass the mechanics like this though. I'm not going to go into some long diatribe about it since that's what the other thread is for, but it's my belief that trash mobs weren't put there just to be skipped.

    This is exactly why loot drops only from bosses hurts the rest of the game. I'm not saying every mob should drop gear but there should at least be a chance for them to drop loot. Otherwise what is going to sell the players to kill trash mobs instead of just going around them?

    Add doors, that you need to interact with, maybe a key from mobs. Have mobs by the doors. Simple fix

    Keep the rewards the same, but tie them to the percentage of trash mobs killed.

    Kill 50% of trash mobs, get 50 % rewards on completion. Across the board.

    i remember back in phase 2 when dungeon mobs didn't leash... but then they changed it because people did 5 minute haukke manor runs

    Don't forget SE were the ones that created this whole mess with their SPEED RUN initiative in 1.0

    I don't think anyone is gonna get banned for doing something SE trained them to do.

    They could just make everyone in the party get a tiny bit of hate when dungeon monsters are aggro'd, like how it was with some events in 11.

    Good luck then - the ironic nature of the XIV community shines as usual:

    "Get rid of speed runs we're tired of running through everything in order to get loot that we want."

    So what do people do shortly after release? Make speed running common place, again.
