Agreed...it's been a pet peeve of mine since beta. It gets overshadowed by other issues but this really is a big deal (I think) when you start talking about strategic fighting.

We've got a spell like Gravity, which slows the mob down, but unless you're running away from battle the mob is just gonna ranged attack you all day.
It's also much more difficult to group enemies together without running 30 feet in one direction, 'cause a lot of them will just stand still and throw shit at you.
