i'll keep this brief. not sure if this has been discussed in great detail. but is it really necessary for every monster in the game to have some form of ranged attack? can this be re-evaluated looking forward? your thoughts.

No kidding im tired of every mob being able to blow is snot on me which hits me for more than my polearm could do when not weaponskilling.
Yep. Not much point to using positioning and strategy if the mob can still hit me regardless of what I do.

Anyway on topic it is kind fo sad.
That's just stupid hype like the majority of information that was thrown at us before release. SE doesn't know that you don't hype a game with mechanics that are "planned" for the future, you hype it with what you'll release it with.Yep. Stupid hype that my dumb ass fell for. You said there would be strategy SE.
Agreed...it's been a pet peeve of mine since beta. It gets overshadowed by other issues but this really is a big deal (I think) when you start talking about strategic fighting.
We've got a spell like Gravity, which slows the mob down, but unless you're running away from battle the mob is just gonna ranged attack you all day.
It's also much more difficult to group enemies together without running 30 feet in one direction, 'cause a lot of them will just stand still and throw shit at you.

CC is total pointless as long as all mobs have range atk~ and there are CC spells in some classes O_o!! i wonder why when SE dont want us to use CC![]()

I do agree but i do also have to say that alot of the non primary range attacking mobs range attacks do take a very noticable time between each ranged attack to where its generally still a good idea to keep awayand use things like bind ect if you have a group capable of being oranised enough to not break it all the time mindlessly zerging everything, altho the obvious benefits are few and far between enough for most people to bover consider even equiping these spells and making themselfs and the people around them to make effect to be more aware.
