Though I agree on some of the changes, I question the motive of some who wants these changes. For those who can't make money off the market now, you probably still won't even with all the changes proposed here and everywhere else in this forum. The reason that you're not making money is not the market.

I don't think the focus of the thread is to make money off the market, I'm pretty sure the focus was the amount of non-market gil generating opportunities there are in the game and a suggestion on how to fix it.

Do what WoW did to put the bite on RMT, cataclysm devalued gold to the point that anyone could farm enough to get what they want with minimal effort. There is still RMT, but no where near what there was in WoW prior (and to be frank, the limited gil supply only really benefits the RMT guys in this game as well).
