Advanced classes

Hi - just wondering of someone could link me to the current requirements for advanced classes.

I am hoping to be a black mage and thought it was 30 Thaumaturge and 15 Archer but some folks in company chat had all sorts of other ideas.

Also, is there anything in game to check?

You are correct, it's THM 30 and ARC 15. The quest text from the NPC in the THM guild actually says the requirements.

What you are talking about is called a Job, not Advanced Class. BLM is indeed THM30 Archer 15. When you hit 30 in your Class you get a quest that will specify what secondary Class you need to raise to 15 to acquire the Job.

There is also talk of them adding 'Advanced Jobs' that require unlocking 2+ Jobs to acquire (example: White Mage + Black Mage = Red Mage / Sage(Sage would make more sense since RDM almost always used swords while Sages used wand/cane/staff. Would make more sense for RDM to be PLD+BLM).

Hey folks,

I am currently playing a conjurer.If I wanted to become a Paladin I'd have to take 30 or so levels in Gladiator and to do that I would have to travel to the gladiator guild wherever that may be. Is this correct?

Yes. The gladiator's guild is located in Ul'Dah.
