New player, a few things very confused

They can lower it, played metro 2033? I actually get better fps in that game with the eye candy all cranked up but it does take some overclocking... since I got rid of my gtx 480's for a couple of cooler running 139 dollar GTX 460 1gb cards. Devs just need to optimize their engine etc is all. Is it true those who subscribe early will only be charged like 7 bucks or so? was reading something like that online and wondering if its true if it will continue when everything goes fully live?

But reading the reviews and playing the game is different... they said a vet mmorpg player would find it hard to play... hardest part for me was putting in all my codes, and figuring out why I could not login... as in make a character and it telling me to go to the service accounts page.... because if ign/pc gamer considered themselves mmorpg vets I must be an mmorpg Jedi master.... game is pretty enjoyable so far.

The game is currently free, but once they feel the game is up to par, we will be charged a monthly fee, which from what I have read, have not changed since release, being here since release should not have an impact on the amount you pay.

As to your video cards, you need to change the XIV profile in the control panel.
Take a look at this post on how to update the profile.

yeah depends on the drivers you got, get like 40-61 fps not sure if that is the norm in this game with GTX 460's in sli or not.
