    One-Time Password Issue

    I recently set up the OTP with the app on my phone. I ended up having to get a replacement phone, and after re-downloading the OTP app, it is requiring me to re-register the app. Obviously I'm unable to do so because even to log into my Squenix account without the OTP. I've already emailed SE but I'm not expecting a response for a couple of days at the least. I've been trying to call them all morning (@ 858-790-7529) so far but all I get is a busy signal. I can't seem to find out how to get to their Live Chat or I would also be trying that route. Does anyone know of an easier way to go about fixing this, or have a way to get to the Live Chat line?

    A friend of mine downloaded the app also and weird enough it completely reset after early access. He did not write down the security password thing and because support was (or is, whichever you prefer) bad he sat in the queue for live chat for many hours just to be thrown out with "no agent".
    He made a support ticket which got closed after several days as well so he never got an answer back from them.

    I wish you best of luck in having your problem resolved mate.
    Support seems to be pretty bad at the moment though making a ticket or trying to contact them through the live chat seems to be the cheapest/best way to get in touch with them.

    I sure don't mind sitting in a Live Chat queue since I have other stuff I can do while I wait. I just got an email saying that they received my ticket but obviously it can take a couple of days after that.

    I printed out my emergency removal password three times, and put each in a safe place. I did this because I know what I'll have to deal with if my phone dies, and I don't have the password.

    If you don't have that password, you are going to have to prove your identity to SE before they will remove the OTP. That will probably require emailing or faxing a copy of your photo ID at the very least. The really bad part about this process is, as Ricje stated, their support department is still swamped. I closed two tickets yesterday, that I had open for over a week each. One of them (for FFXI) resolved itself, the other was a minor issue. I closed them to do what little I could do to lessen the strain on SE support.

    Good luck to you, I sincerely hope you are able to get this resolved as expeditiously as possible

    Can anyone tell me an easy way to at least get to their Live Chat support? I can't find it to save my life
