Combat still too slow. We need a shorter Global Cooldown!

WOW does, and my warlock has a lot of active spells and most spells are on a GCD, for destruction spec, your GCD can be 1 sec or less, and its not mindless spam, only unskilled players play like taht, skilled players can handle 1 sec or less GCD while picturing what happens ahead. sorry, 2.5 secs is a cop out.

I'd have to side with you on your WoW comments. Though.... I think the 2.5 GCD in this game, is in place for the players who use controllers. It would be fairly tough to consistently and effectively manage a 1 sec or lower GCD on a controller. I think it's just the trade-off this game had to make to "fair" across all platforms since they all play together.

In terms of WoW, the GCD in that game was just right for KB/Mouse controls, and the pace of the game itself. One of WoW's overall highlights imo.
