yeah, and that i guess may take 2 o 3 seconds after buying out the item and jumping out of the auction house to click de mailbox that is next to you.
Both systems get the job done so there's no "need" for one.
You people seem to be confusing my OP. I see a lot of what ifs and the Market System works................ FFXIs AH put it directly in your inventory and Cairdeas while I love your repair kit idea, I think your either over-exagerating your expeience with the AH systems, or being overly-defensive of the Market System. An AH system is clearly faster, don't kid yourself.
I'll restate it clearly: It is not about how good or bad the market system is, but it is about convenience.
As Jynx mentioned there is the walking time and there is also the loading time. So yes the current system works, but it is not faster than an AH if you know what you are looking for. Now if you prefer the Market system for some specific reason like your a RPer or something. I wouldn't agree with you, but at least it would be the truth and not an obvious falsification of the facts.
As for focusing on other things right now, I agree ther are more important issues, BUT I would still like it after the major fixes have taken place.

The Market wards are.... ok i guess.
The problem i and a lot of people have with them is their just like an AH with added hassle, whats the point?
I think they will do for now as the devs have more important things to worry about at the moment but an FFXI style AH should really have been added from the start. It provides a good meeting place too.
LOL
what is this forums? ppl protecting market ward, anti jumping, craft a lot and enjoy the game at this moment?
I would like it if they kept the wards but expanded them to include buying straight from item list but maybe add an extra 5% delivery tax to encourage you to actually go into the ward to pick the item up.
They also need more filter options and a better layout of the item search lists. Filters for thing like rank, class and so on then sort them in order high to low and so on.
Also show +1, +2 +3 items in the search list and so on.
I don't want a price history as RMT's can abuse it like they did in FFXI. I like being able to see what people are charging and if there is none in stock you sell the item for what you think it is worth and then if people think thats a good price they will buy it.
I also want them to add an Item Seek Search so I can have look and see what Items people are looking for and sell them if I have them. I also want my retainers to be able to Seek items that I currently don't have. It seems silly that you can only seek items that you already have as most of the time you wouldn't be able seeking them if you had them.
In FFXIV people are undercutting by an asinine amount opposed to XI's system where people would look up the history and undercut by a small amount. I was selling Pearl Rings for 50k a pop til someone just comes along and undercuts me by 60%. 60 PERCENT!
Like honestly? Honestly?
Thats not Undercutting. You obviously were selling them for too much. if someone can make the item for cheaper and still sell it for a profit, they will.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
In Wow last I played they had a 1 hour wait period for all Buy it now items to be delivered as an Anti-RMT countermeasure where auctions were being monitored by Blizzard scripts.

My issues with wards is that all items for sale are not listed just because they weren't sold what? within last 24hrs or so. This is a major problem for myself. Also I miss the highlight of gear etc.. that was equip able for my current job/class (which is not that bad because u can pretty much wear anything which i hate)
