We need an AH

I would like it if they kept the wards but expanded them to include buying straight from item list but maybe add an extra 5% delivery tax to encourage you to actually go into the ward to pick the item up.

They also need more filter options and a better layout of the item search lists. Filters for thing like rank, class and so on then sort them in order high to low and so on.

Also show +1, +2 +3 items in the search list and so on.

I don't want a price history as RMT's can abuse it like they did in FFXI. I like being able to see what people are charging and if there is none in stock you sell the item for what you think it is worth and then if people think thats a good price they will buy it.

I also want them to add an Item Seek Search so I can have look and see what Items people are looking for and sell them if I have them. I also want my retainers to be able to Seek items that I currently don't have. It seems silly that you can only seek items that you already have as most of the time you wouldn't be able seeking them if you had them.

My issues with wards is that all items for sale are not listed just because they weren't sold what? within last 24hrs or so. This is a major problem for myself. Also I miss the highlight of gear etc.. that was equip able for my current job/class (which is not that bad because u can pretty much wear anything which i hate)

All items in the Wards are shown on the Search. Items that were sold show 0 as their inventory. When there is a maintence or a marketward crash though it resets the list and then repopulates it when people put their items back up for sale afterwards.

They need to just make it so all purchasable items are always listed.

I search field would be nice too.. type in what item your looking for and click search button. pulls a list up for said item instead of going thru the list of "row" to find it. That would make market wards alittle quicker. Dont need an AH, just need a search field to type in item name and to link the market wards or something.

That would be nice, I agree there. The two issues I have with the market wards are the separate cities and the crashing. The crashing is the main reason I think AH will win in the end, but I'll be pretty sad when and if it happens.

Like my other post about the convenience of repairs, this post is in regards to the conveniece of buying and selling goods. But I will make this one short.

Suppose I want a Dr. Pepper, which would be quicker:
1. I go to the store and get it.
2. I send my wife to go get it (nevermind that she'd tell me to go to hell).

I am keeping the argument simple. Its not about how good or bad the market place opperates. It is about convenience to useres. The less steps there are the more streamlined and fast the process. Time is money, and I don't have time to do unnecessary steps. Why make something take 5 min, when it could take 5 sec?

MMOs are by nature a time sink, but lets cut out the time sinks where we can yes?

I agree TC but people will defend everything in this game with nothing good to back it up. We do need an AH, if for nothing else for convenience alone, and when I made this exact topic a few days ago some people jumped all over me...apparently the Wards are an AH but better, I still can't see how.

I wouldnt have a problem with your basic idea, I would still like a price history, but I could live without that. BUT I would gladly pay the tax just for the convenience factor of instantly buying and selling items. Don't know how it would work for selling? Maybe it would just instantly and randomly go to one of your retainers?

Yet no one has said this. People who are against everything in this game accuses everyone else who are neutral and actually like something as defending.

It's quite sad really.
