    [dev1040] Rain/Wind and SFX.

Sorry for the dev number, didint find any that had "Environment"

Im am tired of seeing RAIN!
La Nosea rains 70% of the time (mostly).
The Black Shroud rains 90% of the time (truly).
Thanalan rains way to much for a desert. (wierd).

The world is filled with vegetation and it takes water AND sun to grow (rare)

Tired of seeing gray and hearing rain everywhere !

Bums me out every time the rain starts now. (im like uurgh not again...) and when it stops, 2-3 min later it comes back.
(Normally when it rains we stay in) (^_~)

For some reason we cant adjust the sound effects of rain and wind, very annoying when you have earphones and using voice-chat. Was wondering if the devs had plans to fix this.

Thank You for your precious time~

    Bolt~ <insert cut-scene everywhere plz!>

I do think they are planning on adjusting the volume sliders for special effects, like rain.
I don't know on which server you play, but most of the time when I play, it doesn't rain. Sure, there are cloud here and there, but it's only 30% rain for me. Weird, haha!
Maybe you are sensitive to rain and simply notice it more than the sun?

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
    (Marvelous economics IQ test!)

i like rain, but what you're saying it's true.

It rainsn almost too much,... and the reason for me liking rain is...i get sleepy.
I find it hard to concentrate even thou its virtual rain lol, i almost fall a sleep each time.

More Mist.. fog if u like (heavy fog that actually floating around)

More snow, slow snow, heavy snow & freakin Violent snowstorm.
(im talking so violent you cant see sh1t infront of you lol)

    - To add to this....
make some area with Ice, slippery ice... explore the possibilitys
of this unique weather effect into battles.

Slippery ground would make things abit hard in battle,
but prolly hell of alot diffrent than other games.

Like stay too long in 1 spot & you get frozen solid...etc,
    you know what i mean.

Falling leaves? where? Autumn, Can i have it?

They also need to add a fix to turn graphic weather effects off... basic function which is missing >.< I can run weather just fine but alot of people I know bogs down their fps and honestly weather is one of the weaker graphical area's in the game. Just like everything else though, guess it's just coded bad xD

I would love to be able to turn the weather effects off. Due to the fact that I don't have the extra money to build a new PC, I'm stuck playing this game on my macbook. It runs the game well enough, but the weather effects cause me a bit of grief at times. Being able to toggle it off, like in FFXI, would help a number of people out.

I haven't had as much rain as the OP has been having. I have had the most rain in Black Shroud, which is to be expected, but not anywhere close to 90%. In La Noscea it has rained maybe 30% or so of the time I was there. While Thanalan...I really don't remember it ever raining there. Plenty of dust storms though lol.
