Assuming you can have a chocobo level 10 (max out 1 roll), and you get your level in points that's 55 points to spend across the board.

I looked at what skills I want my Chocobo to have for all classes.
Tank line: nothing, every class can support itself against one target
Offensive line: Stun, seriously a free stun even if I can't control it?! totally!
Healing line: Cure, seriously free cures? great for all those DPS classes to focus more on hurting the bad guys

so I'll be going
Tank 3 (cost 6)
Offensive 7 (cost 28)
Healing 6 (cost 21)

Total cost 55

now what would be best for any one thing? I don't know but then again I also don't know that we can't eventually just have chocobo's level 20 and cap out everything too.
