unable to obtain ARR Collecter Editrion Goods

hi SE i am a 1.0 normal edition character and i purchased a physical copy of FF14:ARR collector edition from EB australia. when i try to redeem the item from moogle station it said invalid code ??? WHY ??? this happen to one of my friends too

Basically the situation is that 1.0 accounts are PC accounts, and SE doesn't allow you to register 2 same-platform product codes onto the same service account. (It would be saying "I bought 2 PC versions but I can only play one at a time, even with multiple computers and characters.")

The solution is to purchase a CE digital upgrade from MogStation. That's €15/£15 and will apply to your existing account. The money on the physical CE wasn't wasted, really. You could still use its pre-order code, and you get all the physical goodies that came with it. Just that its product registration code won't work on your existing account.

Oh, I should say that, yes, SE's account system is very complicated, especially for v1.0 player situations. I can't fault anyone for being confused by it.
