There's a bunch of different debates here. One, some feel we need an AFK timer, due to complications with logging on to the server. Also, that if you are logged out for being AFK too long, you shouldn't have an issue with just logging back in. What I want to know is the reason it would be implemented. Is it due to the amount of AFKers preventing other to log in, even after the expansion of alotted space on the servers? Is 1017 still that big of an issue to everyone, that SE would need to grant a system to automatically take inactive characters offline? The whole point of staying logged in- in the first place, was to not have to deal with struggling to re-access the server. So with login issues eradicated (god willing) wouldn't this feature become rather annoying in the long run?
