no one is spamming the forums with "QQ i cant log in" anymore...

why we need an afk log out thingy when everyone can log in just fine now?

He said that they expected more players with PS4 launch, and that they're going to unlock digital sales(even if just in limited quantity). That means more players, more server issues, and more people staying logged in. AFK Kickers are in most MMOs, as well they should be. Even if there isn't a big login issue you prevent it with AFK kickers, or at least help with it.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for some people to simply log out, and then log in again when they are ready to play... It takes less than 2 minutes.

I log out everytime and take my chances, but I understand why some people don't. My roommate has had 90k and 3102 almost nonestop since phase 4. He gets out of work during peak times so it's hard for him to get on when he's free. So I just log him in an hour before, when I get home lol. But even yesterday he was kicked out with 90k and 3102 getting in twice so there's still issues with some players.
