i did realize the other day, while the battle system is pretty deep on tough mobs for a tank or a dd, it really isnt that great for a mage, they basically either spam cures, or spam nukes. but then again maybe i just dont really have a good grasp of the mage job.
No that is basically all you do as a mage, it's why I quit my mages at 30. They're really boring, skilless, unchallenging and thoughtless to play. I always play healers/support in games but this games is boring ._.
NO! Don't say that! :'( I'm a very important asset to the team! ; ; I provide the flashy lights and green numbers, where would we be without them!
in the teams menu there a recrutement system but nobody use it... sad
there should be a queue at the aet.
like :
would you like to join the queue for leve x
yes ?
no ?
and then the group leader can decide when to start or it automaticly start when the group is full
and also : the leve is about to start, would you like to be teleported to the location for 1 anima ?

I think the problem you have is that you are showing up by yourself. Most linkshells arrange times which everyone can play and then they come on at those times allowing them to get full links. Which is why when you show up you are unable to find a party with space. My linkshell generally has a full link party now (with the party size decrease) for each reset.
Never had a single problem finding someone to do leves with. Shouting in the ul'dah gets the deed done fast enough.
if you're not antisocial, you won't even need to shout, because you'll have enough networking to actually know who's at your level, and you can just send tells to them asking if you're up to it.
lemme guess. You just spam cures, right?
Try interlinked nukes/debuffs.
