Game crashes when I check transaction history with retainer

Time: 9/9/2013, all day long, most recently at 6:00PM Pacific Time
Frequency: Always (at least, always today! It had not happened in the past, but has happened every time I have tried to check today.)
World name: Balmung
Character name: Mandze Evensent
NPC name: Retainer
Monster name: None
Class/Level: Has happened on multiple classes of various levels
Party or solo: Solo and in party
In-game time: various
Area and coordinates: The inn room in Gridania

Steps:
1. Click on Summoning Bell, retainer appears as usual
2. Select to check the transaction history
3. Game immediately crashes

Connection Specs
- Type of internet connection/provider: CATV, Comcast
- Modem maker/model number: Arris TM602G/CT
