Voice-acting cut-scenes do not work?! Help

I really enjoy the cut-scenes and cinematics, and have been watching them with no voices so far because something is not working. All the other sounds are working fine. Is this a bug in my game client or in my computer? Any help is appreciated.

This is also happening to me. There was a voice in the movie and the first couple of cut-scenes but the last one I heard was when you had to look for the girl under the tree, after that nothing...I was going to fill out a bug report but it said that if a thread was already made to reply to that so Im doing that instead. Please help

The voices are in the main story only so far, and not in every scene. So I don't think it's a bug.
I do hope it's a work in progress though, and that each content patch adds in more voices to existing scenes.

I feel that this is a bug, as the crystals call trailer shows a few scenes that are voiced, but in game, I did not hear any.*

Specific scene that I am referring to would be the first primal battle with Ifrit. The Amal'jaa speaks as does Ifrit in the crystal's call trailer, but I did not get any voices in game.

Ah - the scene you refer to was indeed voiced when I played that battle, the main story one anyway.

i was level 35 before i heard a single peep from any cutscene.
i have it set to jp language because i prefer it over english, adds a more exotic edge to it imo

I have never heard any voices in the cutscenes either. I just figured it was something wrong with my sound...but maybe it's a bug?

The voice acting is far more sparse than I would have expected, or than I like, it seems very inconsistent.
