I keep getting this strange impression that Leviathan and/or the Sahagin had something to do with this disease. I could have swore I read something about their involvement in the more minor dialogues or it might just be an overactive imagination... to bad we can't replay everything single word the npc's said.

Tonberries are the cutest and scariest enemies in the FF universe. I still have horrible memories of 9999 damage from the cute little green guys. My first time through wanderer's palace, i was squealing when the stalkers were chasing us, though i still think SE should have made them do 9999 damage if they caught you. I am now intrigued and will have to finish my scholar!
