Need clarification of Server Transfers

We definitely need a clarification of when server transfers are going to start.

Before PAX we have been told that server transfers are scheduled to start Mid-September. Mog Station even states this on the optional services page: If you find yourself unable to play with friends because they're on a different World, please consider using our World transfer service.
* World transfer service is scheduled to begin mid-September. An announcement will be made on The Lodestone at that time

However after reviewing the interview at PAX with Yoshi-P I am now confused. He is saying this about server transfers: "Next up was a question about server transfers, and Yoshida said that they will be available within two to three months."

Can we get a Community Rep to clarify this?
