I would like to add that the sound quality of on-board sound chips is sub-par to real sound cards like Asus Xonar or the new Creative cards. This is probably the reason why big companies like Gigabyte started to launch motherboards (G1.Sniper 5) with high quality chips by Creative.

I disagree unless OP is running the game in low resolutions or wants to use lower in-game detail settings. In my opinion he should at least go for a 660Ti or better. Why not put a little bit more money now instead of upgrading later.
True that the Volcanic Island series by AMD will be launched in conjunction with the release of BF4 in October but we're not sure about the pricing, the state of the drivers and so forth. I'm sure that AMD will go a good job this time with the drivers but if OP just wants to play now instead of in 1½ months, I'd go for nVidia. Hell, lets not choose sides here, an AMD 7970 are quite cheap and have 3GB VRAM which is quite nice while playing in high resolutions and using any form of AA.
