Cannot turn in "Shadows Uncast" - Immortal Flames Promotion

Steps:
1. Accepted "Shadows Uncast" from Swift for promotion from Flame Sergeant First Class to Chief Flame Sergeant
2. Completed the instance (Dzemael Darkhold) and returned to Swift to turn in.
3. Read through the completion text, hit "Complete", "Quest Complete" appears across my screen and plays fanfare music. The chat log also says the quest has been completed.
4. Attempted multiple times to complete the quest with no effect.

I've had the exact same problem for 3 days now. I've dropped it and re-done the quest each day now.... I'm over it... fix it

I don't think that's the issue. Several people have this problem "3. Read through the completion text, hit "Complete", "Quest Complete" appears across my screen and plays fanfare music. The chat log also says the quest has been completed." with other quests that are not grand company related.

Same problem SE fix it I want to level up GC. btw did any of you finish the rank 2 GC hunting log? I didn't so maybe that might have something to do with it.

Edit: I found a fix. Just complete your GC hunting log 2 and it should work. It did for me however now the quest required to advance farther is not showing up. It could be bugged as well. Good Luck people.
