Best place to attempt Silver Shark is probably South Bloodshore. You can use low level bait like lugworms and only catch Merlthor Gobies and possibly the Coral Butterfly on occasion. Singling out the Gobies will give more chances at catching an HQ version, allowing you to Mooch. The downside is Blue Octopus shares bites on Mooched catches, so it'll be a crapshoot on what you catch.

yep this is THE spot, use lugworm and you'll ONLY catch Gobies. and if you get HQ Gobies you get silver shark or blue octopus.
