    wierd correlation with lag spikes

    Like of lot of ps3 owners I too have been getting really lag spikes. In fact I would say I was getting them around phase 4 of the beta. I run my ps3 through a netgear wirless N router and my ps3 connected to Linkysy wireless N extender/bridge. Sometimes I like to listen to music on youtube when I play this game. When ever i got lag spikes I noticed my laptop, which is also connect to my wirelss network, went into sleep mode and would disconnected from my network. As soon as that happen I press the space bar and the laptop to power it on reconnect to my network and all of sudden I did not get any more lag spikes. Ever since then I would turn down the volume and play a long youtube video and i been lag free ever since Not sure if this is a coincidence or maybe there is something to this.
    I would like more ps3 owners who have the setup to see if this fixes there lag issue. Oh and those who have extensive knowledge in networks I would like to hear your thoughts as well.

    bump just shut off wifi on my laptop. Once I started to lag spikes
