Last night I was paying more attention to the amount inner beast was healing me and id say most non crits were in the 800-1000 range, 1300-1500 when critting and as much as 2300 with berserk + crit.Faction is the guy everyone should listen in this discussion and i aint jokin.Derza mate i think you should stop wioth your nonsense talk of Inner beast healing you for 1600 with you gear...as that is pure BS.
Anyway i would like to see Warriors getting more DMG mitigation tools aswell as self heals aint a good trade off , specialy if you put into account he complexity of Warrior gameplay.

				Different tank classes are different? WHAAAAAATTTTT!!!!

				This is obviously a min/max thread. The fact is that there are TWO tanks that provide TWO different approaches to tanking and both have strengths and weakness. For me personally I love war ever since I solo'd chimera from 25% hp after he ohko my party. He didn't even get my hp to less than half. However I'm also lvling pld so I get the best of both worlds.

				Erm, warrior shouldn't be balanced defensively with paladins, they are DPS/self-heal tanks. What they lack in defensiveness they make up for in offensiveness. If they could take hits 1:1 with a pally there would be 0 reason to play a pally.
then whats the reason to play a war if war cant main tanking endgame?
everyone and their mom is gonna take pld instead of war for boss like titan when you only need ONE tank because war is inferior than pld at main tanking.

				This is a good point. The whole reason behind having multiple tanks in the game, specially with Duty Finder present, is so that both perform comparably to each other at the end of the day. The tanks should be interchangeable without needing to be brain-linked to the healer in order to perform well.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
War should be different from PLD. And one of them should have the best mitigation. If they were totally equal in every respect then they would loose their allure. I am thinking from the other side of the coin. Should WAR be able to compete in DPS with defiance down? (i.e. keep mitigation as is and increase damage outside defiance? - berserker-stance anyone?)

				"The tanks should be different" doesn't mean one tank has to be flat out better than the other. They could function differently but still be equally good. The current design concept could be fine with some numbers tweaks or tweaks to Warrior defensive cooldowns.War should be different from PLD.

				This is Final Fantasy....
In some situations class X will be inappropriate and class Y will outperform. In some situations class X will be ideal and class Y will fall behind.
Your one-and-only favourite class will never be the best in every single situation, that's just something you need to get over - and this applied to both PLD and WAR, and every other class in the game.
I have a problem with the 30s stun for warriors, why don't we get a similar stun time like Paladins? They already have better EHP and they get a 2.5s stun? Someone help me understand.
