Anyone know how to fix this?

I installed FFXIV on my comp, i transferred it's directory to my other drive while I reformated, now on the new comp if I try to run the boot.exe to login it crashes. I got a guest pass, and my friend lives pretty far away where I got the cds to install from. Any way to fix it besides reinstalling?

This is because you're missing registry entries and there may be other files that are stored elsewhere

Steps you can take
Reinstall the game, then overwrite the folder contents with your backup.
This should allow you to avoid having to download all the updates.
You should back up the files to another location in case there was required changes to the registry that could force you to update from the beginning

copy this folder from your old PC:

- a folder name "My Games" in your My Documents


place it in your new PC's My Documents
