Just what drops Pudding Flesh?

I'm about at my wits end, wondering what the hell drops this stuff. I need it for the 45 ALC quest, and yet nowhere I've looked online can tell me definitively what drops it--or where they're located. Can anyone please help me, and undoubtedly others, find out?

Well pudding flesh was dropped by flan-type monster back in 1.0 so I guess the problem would be where are the flans now?

Hmmm haven't seen them roaming around in open field in ARR, used to be inside the pirate cave in 1.0 in Lanosea (sorry dunnog EN spelling) was cave on the western side of the map before. There is a pirate cave there still but haven't checked it out yet in ARR.

You see some of them in Totorak but it's not worth spamming with a group just for those few flan mobs, only got about 5-6 I think in that dungeon run.

I've been pretty much everywhere except Mor Dhona and I haven't seen these. Have you checked there?

Edit: A few places to throw out there I haven't been yet, maybe worth looking into.

All the beastmen camps
Western side of Outer La Noscea
Sylphlands area

It just seems weird that none of these types of mobs are in the open world, yet requires an ingredient for two recipes.

I've been pretty much everywhere except Mor Dhona and I haven't seen these. Have you checked there?

When I walked around the whole map in Mor Dhona with my Lv1 character on JP server during the 1017 days, I haven't seen any Flan type mobs there. Only Molbol, blue glowing ball mobs, toad, eft, imperials, bandits, gigas, raptors, snake, lightning elementals.

That's all I can think up of in that areas in my head right now.

Admittedly, I really think SE should look into making Puddings spawn somewhere in the world, even if it's from a FATE or something. Because right now it's pretty ridiculous to make a material so important to a class' progression be this rare.
