Just had my own encounter like yours.

Go figure I'm Tanking Cutters Cry for the first time after 1.0, just like you with Ifrit Hardmode, so I don't know what all has been changed. Needless to say everything had been changed and of course I'm adjusting. Well our little Archer buddy thinks he knows something about tanking and of course shoots his mouth off, you know the same old stuff that happens every time a DD thinks he knows how to Tank.

As I said, if your so much better then me, and you know so much about Tanking then why don't you Tank? Of course all that got me was silence.

So I decided to do what you did when we got to a boss, I took it down to a bit lower then a quarter of health then dropped the dungeon, leaving him to die and wipe.

I decided to Superman him.

Moral of my story:

If your name is Croniikz Juelz, if I ever end up grouped with you again through the DF, I'm going to leave you dead and stranded in a dungeon again, every single time.

Actually I didn't waste my time, I was never there to beat the boss's. I was there to help my friend complete his hunting log, which we did achieve. The boss fights were just me helping the other guys/girls out.

Seems you assume too much.

Oh and I'm not mad, it was rather fun doing that to someone who mouths others for no reason. Instead of responding hatefully right back I just neutralized the situation.

Actually that would be one. The healer themselves got tired of our good archer friend, the other guy was my friend who I was helping get his hunting log finished, the last was me.

I'm sorry but the only thing wrong here is, that for someone reason, you feel that when people are insulted that they should accept these insults. Not only that, but it seems you view insulting another as socially acceptable.

Way to be mature about it. Since there are no screen shots there's really nothing more than your word to go on and based on your callous and cavalier attitude I have trouble believing you're the innocent victim who didn't contribute at all to this.

So for all we know Croniikz Juelz offered you some advice on how to run that particular dungeon better and you raged and turned it into a pissing match. So only one other person had to suffer? Even if they were annoyed with the guy they were still there trying to finish a dungeon run that they might have needed. Even if you "only" inconvenience one person for your little tantrum you still made the choice to screw over one person for no reason.

This is the internet, if you can't handle people using words they don't allow in hello kitty world you should probably go back there.
Fact of the matter is you chose a course of action that while didn't screw your friend over apparently it did screw over the healer in your group. You didn't get along with the archer, we get that. That's no excuse to waste other people's time however. Put in a GM call on that person if you disagree with their behavior or attitude. But putting up unsubstantiated accusations and naming those involved isn't going to get you very far.

No the acceptable behaviour is just to leave. What's pitiful is you expecting praise for doing what you did, just because you saw a thread where somone else did the same thing. Additionally if youre going to name and shame someone on the forums you should back it up with some evidence, since I see no screen shot I do not know what is said but I know your actions were of the douchebag kind.

I am assuming this is more along the lines of what happened. You know when a tank cant hold hate and someone makes a suggestion on how to do it, then the tank gets all "OMG YOU SUCK DPS!!! DONT TELL ME HOW 2 DUE MUH JORB!".
