Goldceo has multiple accounts on Phoenix as well, one of the biggest pains ever
I think i have several Goldceo names on my blacklist and have sent in reports
Well, here's my proof. Examine that a while.

There's dozens of videos like this all over YouTube. I did have a few great shots of the person teleporting, but Fraps was being most uncooperative.
What I can't figure out is why the hell SE isn't suing the living crap out of these people for the damage they do to SE's business and the multiple and repeated violations of the terms of service.
Yes it is rather annoying and takes away from the game a bit.
Have actually seen some spammers in person at black station and other locations as well.
For the time being they should at least implement a quick menu to blacklist like looking in the chat/info log and blacklist just by right clicking on their name.
Yes those suggestions sound greatHere's how they could fix it:
Newly created account characters or accounts:
-Can't use shouts or yells until lv 10.
-Cool down on global chats.
Hacked Accounts:
-Report and ignore option added when you click/target on a name in chat.
-30 reports will mute them permanently and send a report to square enix to investigate.
(Judge debuff)
Strike their business:
-Put a gold transfer cap in mails and trades.
putting some sanity checking in the coordinates system would help as well, preventing teleportation to coordinates not on a white list of valid target locations would be a start in preventing teleporting or warping. checking how quickly an avatar covers the virtual distance over a period of time would help too, if the teleport coordinates are locked down then any movement that's not possible while mounted or sprinting should thrown up a red flag.
There's a few reason I can think of:
(1) Different countries with different legal systems. Trying to bring the gold sellers within jurisdiction where they actually have a valid civil claim presents all sorts of problems.
There's all kinds of issues with other countries where corporate espionage is an issue, for example, and those countries don't always handle it the way the company's host country would like. In other words, some countries benefit by taking knowledge from somewhere else, and see it as necessary, otherwise justified.
Then add how unlikely an MMO company could even enforce any kind of legal right even if the country where the gold selling company is located is compliant. The gold selling company might just pull up shop, change names and start over somewhere else. It's probably not hard to hide IP's and locations where the actual computer and person are who are setting up bots, otherwise doing their work.
Then add in the cost of all of this, organizing, hiring attorneys, the time delays.
(2) Over the last ten years there have been reports of some games selling as much as 15% of their games directly to gold selling companies. Add in the number of people who support the behavior and then it becomes a question of how gone does a company really want them? Yeah, they don't want them visible and doing things which people directly see, but outside that?
Guild Wars 2 last year banned something like 35,000 accounts out of the two million ish they sold only two months in. That's only 2%, except a lot of those bots showed back up again on new accounts. Not only is there cost of litigation, and the very costly expense of trying to shut these companies down, some companies (not necessarily FFXIV at all), might have incentive not to force them out completely.

So...this is a joke, right? Please someone tell me this is a joke!

When the game was in beta people's YouTube videos were being flagged, pulled down and their accounts were shut down for posting in game footage but this is a video of "hot to bot" and square enix hasn't done anything?
I put in long hours to get both mining and botany to 50 and when i harvest any materials that I need and seeing bots at the nodes, hidden underground, every 2 days is really starting to p!$$ me off! I have tried to report them as often as I can but its difficult when they are hidden underground. And I didn't purchase this game to become the bot police, finding myself standing around to monitor people gathering at nodes to make sure they're not teleporting. Please square! Do something with mining and botany like u did with fishing because clearly that's working!
We need players to be more vocal about this issue or SE wont take us seriously. this thread should have well over 11 pages. Having said that the spamming is out of hand and lessens my enjoyment f the game. I at least block 8 spammers in any given day or more and it messes up my respnding to other players .
that is saying they wont take their TOS seriously if they continue ignoring the posts of video of hackers and ignoring the reports i have reported the same guy 3 times and he still continues teleporting around between gathering points with nothing being doneWe need players to be more vocal about this issue or SE wont take us seriously. this thread should have well over 11 pages.
