I'm sure this has been said before in this thread, but just in case.

Why not just have 2 chat logs, one that's filtered to your normal needs (/tell,/fc,/ls,etc) and another that has battle info,shouts(for Mor Dhona needs), etc?

I have no problem with sellers really and I only Blacklist a-holes, not gil sellers. No point when they get deleted every week by SE(or so it seems lol)

I guess SE didn't learn from all of the people who quit FF11 because of the rampant gold seller spamming.

Lets "assume" that this game is for the purpose of generating as much revenue as possible. Ok thinking along money making lines......I mean connect the dots people, they're losing subs from people because of it yet they refuse to do anything about it.

Wonder where they're making up that money?

ALSO to those saying SE is deleting these spam accounts, I'd love to see the proof of this besides their "hey we banned lots of people" posts. I say this because my B-list has over 100 names in it and only 5 have been banned. I copy/paste the list of names daily and send in tickets.

Well I said it, because I had a list of 50+(early game) and I barely had 5 left and that's when I decided to stop putting them in there, as it was a waste of my time.

But...I hate to hear you say that, that sucks and is not good

The easiest way to prevent this kind of spam is to implement a time limit on consecutive posts, make it so that you can't post more than 2 posts every 5 to 10 sec and you'll instantly see a decrease in the amount of spam in general chat

When the game was in beta people's YouTube videos were being flagged, pulled down and their accounts were shut down for posting in game footage but this is a video of "hot to bot" and square enix hasn't done anything?

I put in long hours to get both mining and botany to 50 and when i harvest any materials that I need and seeing bots at the nodes, hidden underground, every 2 days is really starting to p!$$ me off! I have tried to report them as often as I can but its difficult when they are hidden underground. And I didn't purchase this game to become the bot police, finding myself standing around to monitor people gathering at nodes to make sure they're not teleporting. Please square! Do something with mining and botany like u did with fishing because clearly that's working!

We need players to be more vocal about this issue or SE wont take us seriously. this thread should have well over 11 pages. Having said that the spamming is out of hand and lessens my enjoyment f the game. I at least block 8 spammers in any given day or more and it messes up my respnding to other players .

that is saying they wont take their TOS seriously if they continue ignoring the posts of video of hackers and ignoring the reports i have reported the same guy 3 times and he still continues teleporting around between gathering points with nothing being done

Yes, this is getting tiring now.

Even as I write this, there is a bot so far down there is no person or name. Just the flash of the pick mining.

Why not code it so you MUST be in a particular spot/plane for the mining to work? You cannot pick up or interact foo far below or above an item in the game ... why not do the same for mining? Would force bots to be in front of the node wouldn't it? No hiding below or falling from above.

I also would HIGHLY suggest DO NOT buy large stacks of shards (talking many many many stacks of 99 shards) from the market on your server. Even with people in my guild, they can average 600 shards on a good play time, and that's over a long period of time. The amount some places are stupid.
