Perhaps it is time for some community members to be appointed as deputy GMs with the ability to tag players for GM attention?

they dont read the reports and they dont do anything to the rmt spammers.
all you can do is ignore them and try to pretend youre in a game where the company actually gives a damn

I like this idea! Or if they don't want to do that maybe they would like to appoint their own gm's to stand around as normal characters, and get spammed all day lol!
Oh, I don't know if they could do that, their GMs might get fed up with nothing happening to the gil spammers and complain...

Like in other games like WoW and i think Rift, you have to be a certain level like level 10 to even utilize the shout feature. Or like in FFXI with the chat filters i think there was one for possible spam to be blocked, cant remember havent played in about 8 months.
ive exceeded my blacklist limit, so now i just /busy when i play and that blocks every tell i get. so i can somewhat enjoy the game without getting spammed from RMTer's

All of these are great suggestions which should have been implemented in the game before its release. The fact that they still haven't put a button in to blacklist spammers with one click means that it is nowhere near the top of their list of priorities and we will all have to deal with the RMT forevermore. My blacklist has been full for almost a month now so every time I need to add a new one I have the joy of having to delete an old one too. This is entirely unprofessional and unacceptable and they obviously do not care anywhere near enough about it. It's a shame!
There is a macro for that. Just saying.

That's only for those that send you tells though.
You'll still have to manually blacklist the shout and yell spammers.
That said though, lately the spam, at least on Sargatanas, has decreased exponentially.
The towns have been quite clean of shouts and the tell spammers I have to blacklist have reduced from 1~3 per night to 1~4 per week.
Aside from that, the tells they send get more cryptic every time as well. It's almost fun now to try and solve the puzzle of what they're actually trying to say to you now.
Last night I emptied my complete blacklist again and... nothing!

Ok Goldsellers are dealt with somewhat.
Now its time to deal with Bots. Do something, put GMs in the actual game and in every zone, it's not hard.
These bots are shitting up your game with the economy shitted up already from scumbags who actually did purchase gold and now put things at retarded prices.
PLUS Ive seen the same damn bot farm god damn diremite webs for the passed 4 weeks. SE for real, i've reported this scumbag 12 times already and he's still around.
implement pvp already so that we can kill the bastards or something. and take off your feature when you are set to busy we can't trade with you, if you need a reason why, it FUCKS over their bot program.
LETS HOPE YOU LISTEN SE, we're all just a little tired of fighting your battles and showing you the ugly sides of your game which im sure you are aware. Action speaks louder than words do.
Bot are the new problem now. I witnessed a person using a mining program and you can tell he was a bot because he would always run into wall's looking for nods to mine then run back to the middle and repeat. This took place in the NA server Fearir or what ever funny name you spell it and I reported him. This miner was level 47 mining in la nosca. The afk programs are what's killing the game economy.
