WARNING: Free Company Thief's running around!

There are people running around joining FC and stealing the gil from company chest.

What i did is that my FC started making donations of gil which should be useful for our FC later, so i thought there is noting wrong in my members depositing gil... now the hilarious thing is that we had like 10k gill and some dude like stole it like really dude? you did it for 10k gill? so im guessing he left, i made permissions so now only me and my officers can put gil to the chest and my members can't, well what else am i to do right?.

so now i hope your all aware of this

now i hope some one from the top reads this like dev or admin dunno.
a good solution will be adding the log of what items are TAKEN and DEPOSIT into the company chest it will make life better and will help us track down the thief and.. well teach him a lesson or someting

They are adding in deposit only features and a log of transactions. At least they are for gil; not sure about items.

Corp/Guild/FC thief is nothing new. EVE Online has audit trails and they are still having this kind of issues.

Personally if you ask me, its the FC's fault. There are many FCs that shall remain nameless in this thread, on Leviathan, were so eager on becoming one of the largest FC, they were inviting everyone, their GF/BF/BFF/Mother/children/grandchild/newborn/unborn and reborn into their FC.

Like anything in real life, one still needs to build trust with the people you plan to give responsibilities to. BTW, this trust need to go both ways. There is nothing preventing the FC Master from being a crook either.

You know there are ranking you can set that give management but no access to chest right? If you openly give people access to the chest you deserve to be stolen from. :3

This post right here. Create an initiate rank, your newbies and untrustworthies can go in there. Give them no access to the bank. Problem solved. Remember, you can potentially invite people who are either Gold farmers, or possibly someone with a comprimised account.
